Vernon’s qualities a perfect fit for council

Monica Vernon has true passion and vision for the city of Cedar Rapids. Combined with her business sense and pragmatic approach to getting things done, these attributes make her the best choice for District 2 City Council representative. Since moving to Cedar Rapids in 1993, I have interacted with Vernon as a neighborhood advocate when she headed the Planning and Zoning Commission, as a business client, as a parent with children the same age and as a friend. In every situation, I’ve been impressed with her intelligence, fairness and boundless energy. People like Vernon are the reason we chose to move back to Cedar Rapids and raise our family here. Help ensure our city’s future by voting for Vernon.
