Vernon is most qualified to be on C.R. City Council

Join me in supporting Monica Vernon to represent District 2 on the Cedar Rapids City Council. I have known Vernon for 25-plus years and am well acquainted with her as a friend, neighbor, wife, mother, school volunteer, community leader, educator and business woman. As a lifelong Cedar Rapidian, Vernon is deeply committed to making our city the best it can be.

Vernon has held many leadership positions in Cedar Rapids that have given her a broad perspective of our community.

She has built a successful local business and, along with her husband Bill, raised three great daughters.

Vernon is a careful listener and a strategic thinker; she has the intelligence and life experiences needed to make good decisions on our behalf.

I cannot think of anyone more qualified to represent District 2.

For decisive leadership, sound judgment, creativity and a clear vision, cast your vote for Vernon on Nov 6.
