As a native Cedar Rapidian, I heartily endorse Monica Vernon for the District 2 seat on City Council. I have known Vernon for more than 30 years and her integrity is second to none. I share the same desire -- to move Cedar Rapids to the forefront of great Iowa communities.

Vernon’s experience, drive and leadership is what our community needs right now. Cedar Rapids can no longer afford to sit idle and watch while other cities implement exciting plans for their future. Our community is being bypassed and overlooked because of a lack of vision. Vernon is a caring leader who can energize us and bring vibran cy back to our community. A vote for Vernon is a vote for a leader who will make things happen.
