You can trust that Vernon will be prepared

As a City Council member for District 2, Monica Vernon would come to the table prepared to perform her important leadership role.

Vernon would study all sides of upcoming issues. She would study materials provided to her, listen to residents who came to her with information and ideas and seek out additional information when she needed it.

At the city council table, Vernon would use her communication skills, especially active listening, and be a proactive part of the decisionmaking process.

And when it is time to vote, Vernon would vote with confidence because of her preparation. My confidence in Vernon is based on more than 20 years of knowing and working with her, both in professional and volunteer roles.
