Vernon wants to provide supportive environment

I’m writing to residents of District 2 to vote for Monica Vernon on Tuesday in the Cedar Rapids City Council election. It’s been my pleasure to work with Vernon professionally, on non-profit boards of directors, and as an active parent at George Washington High School. She approaches every challenge as an opportunity and commits herself to a task until the best outcome is achieved. Having been raised in Cedar Rapids, I know she holds the nurturing of her parents and the support of her hometown dear to her heart.

More importantly, I know she is committed to ensuring that Cedar Rapids continues to provide the same supportive environment for our children.
