Vernon’s work ethic will benefit city

I would like to add my voice to the overwhelming community support for Monica Vernon, who is running for City Council in District 2. Vernon has served on the Jane Boyd board of directors for five years and has repeatedly offered her time, talent and treasure in helping to move this organization forward.

Her enthusiasm and energy are hard to beat and much appreciated.

Her willingness to volunteer in various capacities with Jane Boyd has been modeled and adapted by many volunteers. Let’s give all of Cedar Rapids a chance to experience Vernon’s work ethic, common sense, vision and ability to move projects forward. She will help us take this community to the next level: a place to learn, grow and prosper.
