Vernon will benefit entire community

I have known Monica Vernon for many years and have worked closely with her on numerous civic, community and non-profit organizations’ boards of directors. Vernon is an extremely dedicated, trustworthy and talented individual who cares deeply about the Cedar Rapids community and its residents.

An outstanding community leader with a strong desire to do what is right for Cedar Rapids, Vernon will benefit the entire community. Vernon is a team-oriented, consensus builder with enthusiasm and infectious energy.

There are few people like Vernon who have the community knowledge, historical perspective, broad business experience, government involvement and valued personal relationships within the community.

Vernon has a keen business sense and is a visionary strategic thinker who will listen carefully and consider all sides of an issue before acting decisively.

Working closely with Vernon as she has served this community, I have come to respect and appreciate Vernon’s many talents, family values and personal character and ethics. There is no one more qualified to serve as a member of City Council.
