Vernon will bring needed spark to council

I am fortunate enough to know both the women running in Cedar Rapids’ District 2. I have decided to back Monica Vernon.

Over the years, I have seen her motivate and energize people of all ages to move from ideas to completed projects. The council needs spark right now. Vernon has the enthusiasm, the energy and the depth and breadth of experience to provide that spark and serve our city well.

To me that means she will get moving on some of those great ideas I heard during the last election.
